Steve Brook
Steve Brook began working as a commercial artist in and around the city of London. He embarked on a full time painting career when a top City gallery recognised his talent in 1983. The City, with its bustling streets and train stations, has been his inspiration. By studying the movement of people and traffic around historic buildings, Steve captures perfectly the changing faces of day into night. His interest in people and their busy lives has led him to study in France and the USA, always focusing his paintings on public places and crowds going about their everyday business.
Steve has had 'one man' exhibitions in Germany and in New York and his paintings can be seen in private collections in the UK, USA, Australia and across Europe.
