Rosslyn Ruiz
Born in 1935. Completely self-taught, Rosslyn always felt comfortable without strict traditional training methods, thus enabling her to explore and expand her techniques in texture and form. Her need to create without rules has enabled her to express nature and the elements in her paintings which are always free spirited and exciting. Her abstract paintings capture her personal responses to nature as she sees it, letting the mind and not the eye control her vision. She has had many successful exhibitions in galleries around the world including America and Spain, where she lived for two years. She now lives with her husband and five cats near St.Ives in Cambridgeshire.
