Edward Russell Evans
E. Russell Evans Edward Russell Evans was born in Bexleyheath, Kent in 1939 and showed artistic flair at an early age. After a concentrated art education Edward was taken into employment at the Palace Theatre in Ramsgate, Kent, where he was given the opportunity to show his skill in illustration for the theatre publicity and in scenery painting. In the last 20 years, Edward has exhibited and sold paintings all over the world and has been commissioned to paint contemporary seascape and landscape subjects, for many important buildings throughout the country. From his studio in Spain, Edward also produces some very fine works both large and small, in still life, influenced by the Mediterranean mainland fruits and flowers. From his home in South East Kent, Edward concentrates mainly on landscape in Watercolour and Oils, capturing the beauty of the "Garden of Kent"
