Joe Cousin
Joe was born and spent his childhood in the Mauritius. --Figurative and contemporary artist. Originally residing in Cornwall, but has moved to live and work in France. -- Works in oils, watercolours, acrylics and pastels. --- A stubborn experimenter, his style is as varied as the mood takes him or the subject demands. He is equally at home with the abstract as with the figurative. ---
With landscapes he works "en plein air" as much as possible. --- A colourist by nature, he is an admirer of Sargent, Sisley and Bonnard.
